Key account manager

The position of Key Account Manager requires knowledge of the pharmaceutical market and familiarity with CRM, DWH, BI and Artificial Intelligence solutions. The main responsibilities include: Field analysis and planning, finding new sales opportunities, expanding the company's client portfolio by developing new prospects and managing and maintaining existing clients.

Tasks and responsibilities

  • Field analysis and planning, research of new sales opportunities
  • Expansion of the company's customer portfolio with the development of new prospects
  • Management and maintenance of existing customers
  • Building long-term relationships with customers by implementing loyalty and networking plans (direct contacts + C-Level)
  • Achievement of corporate sales objectives in order to satisfy the customer and bring new internal profits, pursuing customer satisfaction

K - activities

  • Scouting activities: searching for new prospects and stakeholders
  • Attracting the potential interest of prospects due to the high knowledge of the company's products and services
  • Organizing and planning meetings with the client also with the support of pre-sales colleagues
  • Managing negotiations on the purchase of a new product or service of the company
  • Managing and solving any problems that may arise in order to meet the needs of the customer, in coordination and synergy with the business functions involved (EMS, PM, Customer Manager, etc.)
  • Managing negotiations and relations between customers and the various company departments
  • Maintaining and managing acquired customers
  • Managing complex sales cycles
  • Developing long-term customer relationships

Personal and professional requirements

  • At least five-year experience in this position
  • Good knowledge of English
  • Knowledge of pharma market
  • Knowledge of CRM, DWH, BI and Artificial Intelligence solutions
  • Attitude/experience in consulting sales
  • Excellent communicative and relational skills
  • Focus on working by objectives
  • Flexibility and Proactivity
  • Availability to travel in Italy and abroad

What we offer

  • Permanent contract
  • Working hours: full time from Monday to Friday (09.00-13.00//14.00:18:00)
  • Workplace: Verona or Milan
